Half Measures
Welcome to spring! It's cold outside, so I'm delaying leaving until the temperature climbs above the freezing point of water. Having celebrated the solstice since the winter of 2019 (I'm told I was very excited in the hospital in 2022 when I was told it was the summer solstice, and I even remembered long enough to answer a doctor's date query with that.), I've given some thought to an equivalent marking of the equinox, but how does one appropriately acknowledge a midpoint? "Thank goodness it's Wednesday" isn't a common phrase for a reason, and as much as I'm disposed to bad ideas, I won't spend my day riding the yellow line. <Shudder!>
Hmm, maybe I could---nah---or---no. I guess I'm of two minds, stuck in the middle.
Time to check the thermometer.
