The Time of March is On!

Later this month spring starts! I generally like winter, but specifically this year, I wouldn't mind if it were shorter. Skiing can be fun, mountain biking on snowmobile pack is entertaining in its unique way, and Sunday's run on those same trails was quite good. Snow also melts off much more readily than mud. Still, the DOT has never spread corrosive salts due to muddy road conditions, so yes, I'm looking forward to the frozen water melting away completely and once again subjecting a bike with more than one gear to the prevailing conditions. In the mean time, maybe I'll go ride those packed trails this morning before the predicted new coating of snow. That's fat better than sitting inside hibernating!
